{The Danos Family} Denver Lifestyle Family Photographer

I haven't seen this family since their youngest was a 6 month old baby...so it was SO great to re-connect. I teased them & said, I just assumed you moved on to another photographer. To which they replied, "Of course not, we LOVE you." Made my day, week, year...hello. I love being loved. Ha! Who doesn't? Anyway...we met at Daniel's Park (one of my favorite locations) in Denver for a sunset shoot. It was nothing short of AMAZING!!! The light, the color, their wardrobe choices, etc. This session is hands down my favorite of 2016 so far if not of all time (that's out of 7 years of shooting professionally people)!

Many of you who follow my blog are probably asking yourself, WHY? What makes this session my favorite? I've said it before, but truly the lifestyle shots. This family was so comfortable with me & themselves that they just had a good time & I captured it. That's it. It's that simple. Love on your kiddos, your spouse, laugh, run, play, tickle, smile. Do the things you normally do with one another when I'm not there. I tease my clients often by telling them, "Just pretend I'm not here." To which many of the husband's whisper something to their wives which I can only assume is something to the affect of..."but she is here." LOL!!! The point I'm getting at is, RELAX. Enjoy this moment in life. Put a smile on your face & embrace what's going on around you...whether that be your kiddos playing ring around the rosies or whatever. Leave the picture taking up to me. If I feel like your kiddo isn't giving me "happy," I'll work my magic & get it done. With ALL of that said, here is a lengthy peek at our fabulous session together...
