*How long have you been in business?

This is my 11th year in business. CKE Photography began in 2009.

 

*How do I book a session?

Easy-peasy. E-mail me at CourtneyKae@msn.com or fill in your information on the Contact Me page.

 

*When do I book a session?

6-8 weeks before the desired time of your session during busy season (June-Dec.) & 1-2 weeks before the desired time of your session during slow season (Jan.--May).

 

*Do you have a studio?

No, I am a natural light outdoor & in home lifestyle photographer. I do not work out of a studio, but rather I am inspired by the sun, golden hour & shooting within clients' homes. 

 

*When is the best light?

In my opinion, just after sunrise and just before sunset. 

 

*When will I receive my images?

Typically, 2 weeks to allow for editing & hand touching of images. This can vary slightly during busy season.

 

*What should I wear to my session?

I am more than happy to send a link or two to my Pinterest Boards for ideas. In general, I suggest picking 3 colors max & mixing/matching patterns and solids. I personally LOVE layers & funky shoes. Things that pull out personality. However, with Lifestyle Newborn sessions, I suggest the polar opposite as I like to keep baby the focus...simple, solid neutral pallet is soothing to the eye.

 

*What if I need to reschedule?

If there is a sickness or family emergency,  you have up to 30 days to pick a new date free of charge. However, there is a $25 re-scheduling fee for subsequent res-schedules. 

 

*What if there is inclement weather?

 I will contact you at least 1hr. prior to your session if I feel like we need to reschedule. 

 

*What is a down deposit?

A down deposit is a non-refundable deposit when booking with CKE Photography that reserves the date/time of your session. Should you choose to cancel or not show up, I keep the deposit. Otherwise, the $ goes towards your session fee & the remainder of your fee is due at the end of your session on location. I accept: cash, check or major credit card.

 

*Do you travel outside of Colorado?

Absolutely! Travel fees including airfare, housing and transportation will be added to your Session fee if you’d like me to travel to you! But from time to time, I will offer sessions in the cities I am visiting/vacationing with my family. These will be announced on all social media accounts at least 1-3 months prior to allow enough planning on your end.
